Big names at Eurosonic Neumann GmbH

Visit by head of disctric office

On 20th December 2016 the company Eurosonic had a visit not only from Karl Röckinger, head of the district office, but also amongst others the head of Pforzheim University Ulrich Jautz, the district head of economic development Jochen Pretzer, the local mayor Steffen Bochinger as well as Kerstin Monasso, district economic representative.

The visitors were able to get an insight into the world of ultrasonic welding and cutting. Eurosonic’s components are used in highly efficient packing machines for products such as flour or building materials and they reliably seal sacks and other packaging materials. Another area of use for parts made by Eurosonic are cutting machines in bakeries, which cut baked goods into equal pieces and create a clean cut.

To  guarantee the consistently high quality of their components, the family run business carefully selects their raw materials and produces all their goods in Germany. They are sold into a multitude of countries around the world.

To commemorate his visit, Röckinger gave a medal to Eurosonic Neumann GmbH. It depicts Ferdinand von Steinbeis, a historic figure from the local area, who in his days was a pioneer in furthering economic development.

New premises for new challenges

Eurosonic New Building

New, large-scaled, functional and representative – this is the best short description for the newly built location with more than 1200 m² in Keltern.

There are different reasons for an investment in a new company building – growing, representation, transport connection, efficiency and business organization. We took all of them for occasion to invest in a new location. In spite of several enlargements and modifications, the old premises were no longer sufficient. In June 2014 the new building with modern production hall and representative office building was ready to be moved.

While the production hall was manufactured as a steel frame, the office was built in solid construction. During the planning phase, all requirements could be considered and so a new company headquarter arose, which satisfied highest expectations. Naturally the environmental aspect was considered. Solar cells and roof greening contributes actively to this.

The pleasant surrounding offers numerous advantages for customers, employees and the company. Developing and realizing customer-specific solutions for individual requirements. At the new location, rugged and long life products will be constructed under optimum conditions.

The company management of EUROSONIC invited employees, relatives and friends at January 17th, 2015 to visit the newly built location.

Numerous of guests took up the invitation and were officially welcomed by a champagne reception. Afterwards they had a guided tour through the new building. Hereby staff members explained how to use the machines, which were presented in operation and a lot of informations about ultrasonic components were given to the interested guests. There was a lot to marvel, to touch and to trial.

The production hall was nicely prepared for this special day and invited the guests to linger on. The seatings proved extremely popular and so the visitors enjoyed the afternoon in a pleasant atmosphere. Food and drinks were also provided at the buffet like cakes and coffee. Shortly summarized: an all-around successful celebration.
