EUROSONIC information: Ultrasonic sieving

Maximum sieving performance with a minimum failure rate!

Using the ultramodern EUROSONIC ultrasonic sieving systems means that you can achieve a significantly higher and continuous output rate, which is the reason why these systems are implemented in the production processes of almost all major producers. Ultrasonic sieving with a mesh size below 80 µm and ultrasonic cleaning of sieves with a diameter of up to 2,500 mm optimize the performance of sieving systems significantly, which is also the case with powder coating.

The EUROSONIC ultrasonic sieving system

The EUROSONIC device consists of an ultrasound generator, a converter and a coupling element. The EUROSONIC system has the following special features:
  - the ultrasound is coupled at the edge of the sieve
  - a sieve with a resonance behaviour is not required
  - the sieve can be either solid or hollow and shaped into any form

Ultrasound generators

The generator functions at a frequency of approx. 35 kHz with the pulse method and generates strong short time (pulse-like) amplitudes of vibration, so the cleaning of the sieve is improved and any soiling is eliminated. One generator can drive up to eight sieves, the vibrations are then more evenly distributed over the entire surface by means of frequency hopping. The generators (GSI) are available as modules or as a version for installation in a cabinet and are very well suited for retrofitting.

Ultrasound converters

The 35 kHz converter (KPB) in a stainless steel casing is available in a dust-proof design or as a version with ATEX 94/9/EC approval.
The device is installed outside the stream of powder, on the edge of the sieve.
Ultrasound is introduced directly via the sieve frame.
